Going down I-75 and all the sudden my bike feels real loose. I look down I the the tab holding my seat hinge on I broken. Went to a friends house and welded it back and got back to riding

Annual Ferry ride

Took our annual ferry ride to Augusta Sunday. Last year we rode shovels. This year we went hardtail. The day started off nice but had to be bundled up. Stopped in Augusta to have a drink and head back before too cold. It got cold after the sun went down. Hands were the coldest. I had to alternate hands on the throttle while the other sat

New rocker oil lines

Got this Old-Stf oil line set up in stainless. Had to take the tank off to get the fittings on and found the paint on the inside if the tank next to the backbone peeling. Gas under the paint
Took off the bubbled paint the find a small crack near the mount.
FUCK!!!

Rear exhaust bolt fell out of Scott's wg last night. Had a few bolts at the house. Grabbed them and got it back on the road.

Rode up to bike night with the guys from MotoRod Design. We made it there easy enough. Shoot the shit, talked to buddies and had some drinks.
Not a bad time. Then we decided to leave. My bike didn't want to start so fucked around with it, finally Bill hit the stater while I was kicking the solenoid and it turned right over. Ok sweet time to roll! Not quite, another bike not starting. Good damn Evo's !!! Some investigation turns up the main battery cable pulled out of the connector. Got that fixed and shit no taillight. Chaffed smoked wires. No biggie just keep Dennis in the middle of the pack to keep him safe but more to keep anyone from seeing his ridiculous "wash cloth/pants" setup.

update, 72 miles : bike runs great head light and think the tail light were droping out ocassionaly, laying in a parking lot with flashlight checked over bike , rear brake res is leaking or just residual from the messy bleed blowing off.
Today is amazing out, bike runs good, rides smooth

This is basically a basket case picked up a few years ago. A BSA motor. Half lighting half thunderbolt. Can't remember which is the top and bottom.

All kinds of stuff that don't fit in the wrong places. It's in pieces now and needs lots of work

Not many seat options for 83 ElectraGlide. Look like options are black or brown lol

Old Leaky

1983 ElectraGlide FLHT
Bought and ran great for a few weeks. Then had a bit of an incident with cylinder bolts and studs backing out of the cases. Bits and pieces down in the bottom end now. Rebuild coming a little sooner than wanted.

Well not really a find because I knew it was there. Was covered in mud and dirt so I drug it around the house (literally bc the back wheel is locked up) and power washed it. It's a Harley 19.....19?? Ok not sure of the year it is? Guessing pre 69' because theres no vin on the frame. Story is that Scott's uncle had a pan motor in it at one time and this is what's left along with a front and rear fender

Battery tray, oil tank and oil cooler mounted. Oil lines ran. Changed out the rear sprocket from 51t to a 49t
